Our Story
Our founder and director, Anthony A. LoBue, conceived Arts for Veterans while empowering himself through the Arts to survive and thrive during a cycle of death defying health issues. In his own struggles, he realized there is a need in his community for a organization that can provide similar outreach for what was so beneficial for himself.

Anthony A. LoBue “Tony the Vet”
Veteran. Artist. Educator. Anthony, better known as Tony the Vet, is a disabled Vietnam War Veteran and is active in the Arts and Veteran communities in San Diego and Tijuana. He enjoys creating Literary, Performing and Visual Arts and advocating for fellow Veterans and local community. Tony is dedicated to various entrepreneurial pursuits, especially, his “Legacy Projects.”
